This app started out great, had a few growing pains with custom drinks, but finally all the features are working great.

The only app I actually paid for upgrading from a free version. And it well worth it! Please update more often with new features and new drinks!

Actually think the app is perfect for what I need... If it would work. If you are trying to use this for a custom library, keep looking. It will not back up to the cloud, so you cannot share with multiple devices. I have contacted customer support 3 times in the past week and a half to no avail.

This app has everything I could want in a mixed drink app including the ability to add my own drink recipes or add other recipes I find elsewhere. What else do you need??

Good app but no updates for over two years. Did the company shut down?

My go to app, to look for drinks when I watch episodes of Bar Rescue. Just wish theyd have more of those drinks that they create in Bar Rescue. That would make it even better!

I like the mixology app. One of my gripes though: the standard drinks dont confirm to the IBA standard measurements.

All you need and more to find or create most any cocktail you might create at home. The app has gotten better over time in terms of ease of use. It is my go-to rather than any of the cocktail books on my shelf.

This is a great app, BUT...the library is getting crowded and should be weeded out. No updates since summer 2014. Wish you could make custom drink lists such as "drinks to serve tonight" or "prohibition era cocktails".

When I first downloaded the free app. and started checking it out, I was very excited, would have initially given it a high rating. Since then, has been very disappointing. 1) I initially downloaded the free app. and made a big list of favorite drinks. Then, I bought the upgrade, because you have to buy the app to be able to make a list of customized drinks (and get free of ads). I was fine with that, but I come to find out, I can’t transfer my favorite drinks list, and have to input them all over again into the upgraded app. I emailed the company about this, asking for help, heard nothing back. 2) Virtually every drink designed by mankind has variations and there are invariably going to be debates. I get it. It can actually be fun to hear the arguments. BUT, when a drink’s ingredients are so clearly wrong, then it’s a problem and a disservice to the customer. I see comments by customers on certain drinks, pointing this out (some comments from 3 years ago), but Mixology has done nothing to correct this problem. Ex: The Apple Martini. The entire drink recipe calls for a total of ONE OUNCE of beverages. Just complete laziness not correcting this. 3) It freezes. A lot. Have to turn off my phone to reset the app. 4) When making custom drinks, if you want to change the amount, you have to delete the entire ingredient and locate it again in the directory. Very annoying, especially for something like cocktails, which have the potential to be constantly tweaked. 5) Booze, like music, attracts so many pretentious folks. This has nothing to do with the app. but some of the comments are amusing because the people writing them are so full of themselves. (Not to be confused with some genuinely helpful comments by customers).

Fantastic selection of recipes with advanced search function. Has become indispensable.

Its good. As a foodie and a boozy, I enjoy drinking different things, but dont always have a recipe with me. It would be nice to be able to search just plane drinks. Like , whats in a Tom Collins. And wine reference would be cool. Id pay .99 for that. Sorry Ive been drinking. Piece

Great help! I just started tending bar and this is the perfect and quickest reference point.

I am a bit disappointed as the site only gives ingredients but not how many parts so u have to guess and it doesnt always turn out right.

Great little app. I suggest getting the paid-for version.(no ads) Add all the ingredients you have in your house into the "liquor cabinet" section of the app and see what cocktails you can make right there!

Easy to use, wide range of ingredients. Liquor cabinet and custom drink section is great. Only issue-couldnt import my custom drinks from my old phone when I got a new phone. Had to enter everything manually again.

I love this app. Its great for drinkers of all levels, from the novice who is attempting their first cocktail to the experienced boozehound looking to try sonething new. I have a well stocked cabinet, this app has helped make it the best of my friends, allowing me to be smug and lord over then. Wholly recommended!
